The parents of Heather Lee Poppe, Palmyra, Mo., and Brandon Lee Todd, Mammoth Spring, Ark., announce the engagement of their children.
Poppe is the daughter of John and Angie Poppe, Palmyra, Mo., and Todd is the son of Freddie and Tab Thompson of Mammoth Spring and Ronnie Todd of Salem, Ark.
The prospective bride is a 2002 graduate of Palmyra High School, Palmyra, Mo., and a 2007 graduate of Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing, Quincy, Ill., where she earned her bachelor of science in nursing. She is currently employed by Blessing Hospital of Quincy, Ill., as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit.
The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Mammoth Spring High School at Mammoth Spring, Ark., and a 2006 graduate of Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, Kan., where he earned his Locomotive Engineer Certification for BNSF Railway. He is currently employed by BNSF Railway, Quincy, Ill., as a conductor and locomotive engineer.
An April 17, 2010 wedding at the United Methodist Church, Palmyra, Mo., is planned.
