North Arkansas HomeCare has announced that it has been named to the 2009 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. Winners are ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement and financial performance.

"The 2009 HomeCare Elite winners demonstrate a commitment to providing their patients with the best possible care while performing at the highest level," said Nancy Buller, senior director of marketing communications at OCS HomeCare. "We congratulate North Arkansas HomeCare on being one of the top home care agencies in the country."

NAHC services a 50 mile radius of Salem encompassing 10 counties and provides skilled services that include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. In addition to skilled services the agency also provides CNA's to assist with personal care. Combined, the Salem and Mountain Home locations presently employee 35 healthcare professionals.

Kristi Kenslow, director of nursing, credits staff dedicated to quality patient care and continued performance improvement activities with the company's ability to rank as one of the HomeCare Elite. She said, "Excellence doesn't happen by accident. Being Best of Class requires focus and commitment. We never stop learning, we never stop improving, and we never stop growing."
