A Highland man was arrested Jan. 4 on charges of domestic violence and violation of a protection order by the Horseshoe Bend Police Department. James Naldo Arnold, 41, was provided a bond hearing by Judge David Miller and one of the conditions of bond was that Arnold have no contact with the alleged victim. Arnold posted bond and the following day Sheriff Tate Lawrence was notified that Arnold had made contact with the victim. Arnold was brought back to the Izard County Detention Facility and a bond revocation hearing was held. Judge Miller found that Arnold had violated one of his conditions of bond and ordered Arnold held in the Izard County Detention Facility until his Horseshoe Bend Court date.

William Terry Stacy, 42, of Mountain Home was arrested Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance (three counts). Stacy remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $50,000 bond.

A Horseshoe Bend man, Sammie Lee Harmon, 62, was arrested Sunday night on charges of driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and driving left of center. Harmon remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a bond in the amount of $1,185.

Zabrien A. Meek, 29, of Cherokee Village was arrested Thursday on a failure to appear warrant. Meek was later transferred to Sharp County where he also has charges and was given an Izard County court date of March 25.

A Jonesboro man who was previously arrested and charged in connection with the theft of an ATV was arrested Saturday on felony failure to appear charges. Sims is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond.

Thomas A. Branscum, 29, of Calico Rock was arrested Saturday on a failure to appear warrant. Branscum was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting bond in the amount of $1,227.

A Jackson woman, Terri Sue Farley, 40, of Jacksonville was arrested Jan. 5 on a $499 cash bond. Farley was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a cash bond in the amount of $499.
