Fulton County Judge Charles Willett to seek re-election

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

"Since taking office in January 2005, I have enjoyed working with the residents and employees of Fulton County to make improvements throughout our county and to our road infrastructure. In the last two years alone, we have worked through four federal and one state declared disaster. Work is nearing completion on the debris removal from the January 2009 ice storm, which made history as the most devastating to the timber industry and roads for Fulton County. Something good does come from all bad as approximately 85 jobs were created for residents of the county.

"As 2010 begins, several projects are scheduled to start: completion of the pavement on Union-Bexar Road, Humphrey-Ford Bridge replacement, Phase II of the Fulton County Sports Complex, and plans are underway for the new Fulton County Jail.

I will continue, as in the past five years, to uphold and maintain the office of Fulton County Judge with the utmost respect and dedication. I appreciate all the support and trust that you, the residents of Fulton County, have placed in me and ask, once again, for your vote and support in the upcoming election."
