CALL meetings slated at area churches

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

The CALL (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime) is a nonprofit group, dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting Christian foster and adoptive families throughout Arkansas.

The CALL for Izard, Fulton and Sharp Counties holds it's monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month, in one of the three counties. The next meeting will be Feb. 1, at the Salem Church of Christ on Hwy 62/412 in Salem, from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. It has monthly information meetings at local churches, rotating among the three counties. At these meetings, anyone interested in adoption or foster care at any level, can get the information they need from the CALL and DHS/DCFS about what is expected of them and fill out all the appropriate paperwork at one time.
