Izard County High School standout golfer Kiley Mettler recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Seminole State College in Sanford, Fla., next year.
Mettler finished as runner-up medalist in the Class 2A State Golf Tournament this past fall, helping the Lady Cougars to a runner-up finish in the event.
Christa Teno, coach of the Lady Raiders of Seminole State, is very excited about her new addition.
"I believe Kiley has a ton of talent and wants to learn and work hard to get better," Teno said. "She fits in well with the rest of the girls and will be a contributor."
Seminole, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), finished third in the nation last season.
Mettler has been named All-State each of her four years at Izard County.
