Pittman received a golden ticket during the show which aired Jan. 27 at the Dallas auditions for the show to appear in Hollywood.
Pittman is a graduate of Cotter High School.
The 27 year old Pittman sang a crowd pleasing rendition of Bring it on Home to Me by Sam Cook. What is amazing is that Pittman also has Tourette's syndrome and it doesn't show up in his wonderful vocal style.
Tourette's is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder with onset in childhood, characterized by the presence of multiple physical (motor) tics and at least one vocal (phonic) tic.
The area will undoubtedly be glued to the television on Tuesday and Wednesday nights after Season 9 begins cheering on the "Hometown Guy."
