Homes needed for cats

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Last month, an elderly lady passed away in Izard County, leaving a large number of cats at her home. Since that time, ICARE volunteers have been caring for them and feeding them. These cats will be spayed or neutered, given vaccinations, and tested for feline leukemia in the next several weeks.

ICARE is soliciting your help in finding homes for these cats. There are a wide range of colors from which to choose. Some would make good house cats, others good barn cats. There will be no adoption fee charged for these cats. The group would only ask that an application be filled out so records may be kept on their placements.

If anyone could help by giving a home or a barn to any of these cats, or know of anyone else who could, call ICARE (368-5000) and leave that message.
