Turkey banquet slated

The Rocky Top Limb Hangers chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation have scheduled their 10th annual Hunting Heritage Banquet for March 5 at the National Guard Armory in West Plains.

The theme of this year's event is Hunt, Conserve and Share.

Funds raised from the auction will be used to support conservation and youth projects locally and nationally.

This year all the items in the auction are American made and will be available for viewing when the gates open at 5:30 p.m. The barbecue dinner starts at 7:30 p.m., with the auction, called by Billy Sexton, to start thereafter.
