Following a trespassing complaint by an Evening Shade realtor regarding two tenants who had been evicted from rental property located at 1818 Highway 167 in Evening Shade, Sharp County Sheriff Dale Weaver requested Detective Sergeants Mark Counts and Ken Guidry to respond to the address.

When the detectives arrived at the apartment owned by Paul Bacon, the detectives found it to be still occupied and detected a strong marijuana smell coming from within the building after one of the tenants answered the door.

The occupants were identified as Sasha Boyd, 31, and Tabitha Platz, 24. According to the press release provided from the Sharp County Sheriff's Department, the two women then were cooperative and gave Counts permission to search the apartment. Counts later seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The report states that both women were issued misdemeanor citations and given April 1 court dates.
