Custody of Amanda Kay Branscum, 23, of Mountain View, was transferred March 7 to the Izard County Detention Facility. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Branscum is charged, along with her husband, Elmer Lewie Branscum, with theft of property. The theft involves that of taking guns from homes in Izard County. Branscum faces similar charges in Stone County. According to Sheriff Lawrence, Branscum made an initial appearance in Izard County Circuit Court and was returned to Stone County. A bond in the amount of $10,000 was set for the Izard County charges.

Scott Rayburn Galloway, 25, of Melbourne, was arrested March 8 on a Baxter County contempt of court warrant. Galloway was transferred to the Baxter County jail the same day.

A Calico Rock woman, Tammy Gale Robison, was arrested March 8 on a Baxter County warrant. Robison was also transferred to Baxter County to answered the charges.

Richard Alford Magourik, 22, of Melbourne, was arrested Friday night following a motorist call to dispatch that a possible domestic situation was occurring in a vehicle along side Highway 5 in Calico Rock. The female victim of the domestic refused to provide a statement against her brother, Donnie Woodcock, but did say that Magourik had taken the keys to the vehicle and had thrown the keys into the woods. Magourik was located near Roadrunner Lane and was arrested on the charge of public intoxication. Mogourik remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on the charge and on a hold from the Arkansas Department of Correction.

David George Mcatee is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility following his Sunday afternoon arrest on a Baxter County warrant. Mcatee, age 62, is from Pineville.

A disturbance at a residence on School Street in Melbourne around 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning resulted in the arrest of two females. Kagni Gillihan, 24, of Melbourne, and Terry Sweeney, 27, also of Melbourne. They arrived at the home of Sweeney's ex-husband in the wee hours of the morning following a night of drinking. Both females were taken to the Izard County Detention Facility where Sweeney was booked on charges of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and two counts of resisting arrest. Gillihan was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and obstructing governmental operations. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that both bonded out of jail later Saturday morning. Sweeney's bond was $3,020 and Gillihan's bond was $1,515. Both were given a court date in Izard County District Court.

Following a Thursday morning incident at Calico Rock, Michael Robert Benert II, 20, of Pineville, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Benert was later transferred to an addiction treatment facility.

Robert Allen Fuford, 40, of Berryville, was arrested Thursday on a failure to pay fines warrant and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond in the amount of $2,322.

A Mountain Home man, Jason Charles Anthony, 30, is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility on a criminal investigation hold following his being found in an outbuilding of a residence in Calico Rock. Sheriff Lawrence said felony charges are pending.

Cody Deal Freeman, 52, of Perry, was arrested Saturday on a Faulkner County warrant. Freeman remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending bond in the amount of $775 or transfer to Faulkner County

A convicted felon awaiting bed space at the Arkansas Department of Correction was booked into the Izard County Detention Facility. Booked March 15 was John Allen Carson, 53, of Salem. Sheriff Lawrence said that Carson was sentenced in Fulton County.
