Cherokee Village hires two police officers

Cherokee Village Police Department welcomed two new officers aboard recently.

Jeremy Shane Rose works with the city as full-time patrolman. Rose has worked for Fulton County Sheriff's Deputy for the last two years. He has been a certified police officer for seven years.

Rose is married and has two children. He has been affiliated with law enforcement since January 2003.

Phillip Allen Dunlap was also hired as full-time patrolman. Before coming to work for the Cherokee Village Police Department, Dunlap worked with the Arkansas Highway Police for the last five years. He has been a certified police officer for five and a half years.

Phillip is married to Karen Dunlap and has two sons, Cori, who lives with him and his wife and Kreston who lives in Hoxie.

Dunlap has been affiliated with law enforcement since 1994.

Both officers look forward to serving the needs of the citizen's in the community which they serve.
