The first annual Fun Run on April 3 in Summersville was a great success.
All of the Beta Club and FFA students demonstrated a great deal of hard work and determination throughout this event, helping things to run smoothly.
The weather was perfect and the students and athletes behaved in an exemplary manner.
All entry fees and concession earnings were donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis.
This event raised approximately $500.
Event organizers offer thanks to all the sponsors and to the elementary students and their parents for supporting the Fun Run.
Elementary students also collected 65 pounds of soda tabs to go toward expenses at the Ronald McDonald House.
