Lady Cougs walk by Norfork

They only had two hits, but the Izard County Lady Cougars took advantage of 16 walks en route to a 17-0 shutout of Norfork April 12.

Izard County racked up 11 runs in the second inning of the run-ruled affair.

Kaydie Campbell and Courtney Bookout recorded the Lady Cougars' hits in the game.

Stephanie Shrable picked up the win, allowing just one hit while striking out six and walking one.

Izard County blasted Black Rock 13-4 April 13.

Campbell earned the win in the circle, striking out 12.

The Lady Cougars had only five hits, but the Lady Zebras committed seven costly errors in the contest.

Emily Crider had a triple and drove in three runs for Izard County.
