Donald Joe Ashford, 22, was transported to the Department of Corrections at Bonne Terre for felony probation violation. Ashford was originally charged with burglary in the second degree and two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree related to an incident of vandalism at the Thayer Golf Course on February 27, 2010.

Sherry E. Simmons, 26, of Alton was arrested July 7 on a charge of sexually trafficking child less than 18 years old. Simmons is being held in the Oregon County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Charges were filed against Richard V. Sandage, 41, of Alton in connection with the Simmons case. Sandage has been charged with sexual trickling and two counts of sodomy in the case for allegedly giving Simmons pills in exchange for permission to have sexual intercourse with the child. Sandage is currently being held in the Stoddard County Jail on unrelated charges and faces extradition to Nebraska in a case against him there.

Rodney M. Wilson, 43, of Licking was arrested July 2 and charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest. Wilson is bing held in the Oregon County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

John Michael McNamara, 30, of Conway was arrested on July 9 for felony possession of a controlled substance. McNamara posted bond in the amount of $4,900.

David L. Bozarth, 26, of Mammoth Spring was arrested July 9 on two Thayer Police Department warrants for no license and no plates. Bozarth posted bond in the amount of $424.50.

Kevin L. Hollibaugh, 38, of Thayer was arrested July 10 by the Alton Police Department for felony possession of a controlled substance. Hollibaugh remains in the Thayer City Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Steven L. Yant, 24, of Cordova, Tenn., was arrested July 10 for a misdemeanor charge of having a glass container in a prohibited area. Yant was issued a summons and given a court date of Aug. 18.

Timothy A. Nish, 54, of Columbia was arrested July 10 for a misdemeanor charge of having a glass container in a prohibited area. Nish was issued a summons and given a court date of Aug. 18.

Charles A. Nish, 25, of Crestwood was arrested July 10 for a misdemeanor charge of having a glass container in a prohibited area. Nish was issued a summons and given a court date of Aug. 18.

Derek B. Wilson, 24, of Peoria Heights, Ill., was arrested July 11 for a misdemeanor charge of having a glass container in a prohibited area. Wilson was issued a summons and given a court date of Aug. 18.

Amanda M. Young, 23, of Willard was arrested July 11 for a misdemeanor charge of having a glass container in a prohibited area. Young was issued a summons and given a court date of Aug. 18.
