Amanda Sara Cain and Terrence N. Thielen were united in marriage on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 5:30 in the afternoon in a garden wedding in Fayetteville, Ark. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Cain of Oxford, Ark. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Thielen of Fayetteville.
The bride's attendants were Lagena Louise McBride of Oxford, Ark., and Kristi Russell of Melbourne, Ark. The groom's attendants were Anthony Thielen, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Alexander Henle, of Fayetteville, Ark. Ms. Autumn Bynum was the officiant. The processional and the recessional were played on guitar by Alexander Henle.
A reception followed the ceremony and was catered by Cody Johnson and Jason Henderson, friends of the bride and groom. Music was provided by the country rock band Charliehorse.
The bride wore a mermaid-style, high-neck, lace gown in white satin embellished with embroidery and featuring a chapel train. The groom wore a European-style, one-button, peak lapel tuxedo. His attendants wore black with peach accents. The bride's attendants wore gowns in the wedding colors of peach and blush.
The bride is a graduate of Izard County High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She is a microbiologist at Tyson Foods, Inc. in Springdale. The groom is a graduate of Fayetteville High School. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art from the University of Arkansas. He is a founder of TNT-138 Publishing.
