The Ridgefield Christian Warriors and Calico Rock Lady Pirates took the top team honors at the 4-1A District Golf Tournament Sept. 21 at Cooper's Hawk in Melbourne.

Emily Johnson's 6-over 42 was good enough to earn the Calico Rock Lady Pirate Medalist honors. Teammate Brandy Deloach came in second with a 49.

Mammoth Spring's Kaitlyn Haney shot a 50 for the day, giving her third-place individually.

Weiner came in second behind Calico Rock in the team standings, followed by Mammoth Spring, Izard County and Armorel.

Lauren Weatherford added a 65 to Calico Rock's score for the day.

Alex Blankenship fired a 58 for Mammoth Spring, while Kaitlyn Vanginhoven carded a 60.

Jordan Sherrell and Kristen Doty paced Izard County with a 52 apiece, with Faylan Farmer finishing with a 68 and Hannah Doty a 76. Viola's Alex Duncan carded a 71.

In boys' action, Izard County's Preston Harmon (74) finished second to Ridgefield Christian's Cameron McKinney (70) for Medalist honors.

The Cougars (265) also came in second to Ridgefield Christian (259) in the team standings, followed by Armorel, Hillcrest, Bay, Crowley's Ridge Academy and Weiner.

Uriah Mead added a 94 for Izard County, while Caleb Cowen shot a 97 and Jake Dockins a 106.

Viola's Skyler Robbins finished with a 103.
