Former Sharp County OES Director Sentenced to 20 Years

Henry H. Boyce, Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney, announced today (Oct. 5) that former Sharp County OEM Director Pete Reilly pled guilty to four counts of sexual assault in the second degree, a class B felony, in circuit court.

Class B felonies are punishable by 5-20 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections and up to a $15,000 fine.

Reilly, 66, pled guilty to sexually abusing four minor victims and was sentenced to a total of 20 years in the DOC and was fined $5,000. Reilly was scheduled to face a Sharp County jury later in the month.

Reilly was taken into custody and awaits an opening in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
