Amanda Marie Thomas, 25, of Dolph was arrested Nov. 1 on felony theft of property charges, felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor theft of property. Thomas remains in the Izard County Detention Facility. Her husband, Bryan Thomas, is wanted on similar charges but has not been arrested. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said both are accused of taking property from relatives and others.
A Mount Pleasant couple was arrested Nov. 5 on misdemeanor warrants charging them with theft of property. According to Sheriff Lawrence, Sammy Wayne Banks, 37, and Melanie Harper Banks, 35, are accused of removing items from a furnished house they were renting in Melbourne. Both posted bond the day of their arrest in the amount of $500 each.
Mark Killian Sexton, 44, of Pineville was arrested Nov. 1 on charges of driving while intoxicated-third offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving on a revoked license and fleeing. Sexton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $6,000 bond.
Clayton Allen Lynch, 22, of Melbourne was arrested Nov. 5 on charges of possessing a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia. At the time of his arrest, Lynch tested positive from opiates, marijuana, meth and amphetamines. Lynch's bond on a previous arrest was revoked and he remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Angela Marie Dickerson, 32, of Melbourne was arrested Nov. 4 on a failure to appear warrant. Dickerson posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $600 and was released with a court date.
Roger Lee Johnson, 41, of Batesville was arrested Nov. 2 on a misdemeanor Baxter County warrant. Johnson posted bond in the amount of $329 and was released with a court date.
