The Elks Youth Fishing Rodeo will be May 7, starting at 9 a.m. and going until noon, at Lake Thunderbird Marina in Cherokee Village.
Entry fee is $5 for ages 12-years and under.
Rod and reel prizes will be given for boys and girls in the 'most fish caught' category.
A trophy will be given for the largest fish caught. Free hot dogs and drinks will be available to all youth entrants.
Some bait will be provided, but on a limited basis.
Proceeds go to the Highland Elks National Foundation which funds local youth activities.
Boy Scout Troup 639, along with adult volunteers, will be on hand to ensure a safe, good time.
