She died May 27, 2011, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, at the age of 99 years and 7 months.
She was united in marriage to Walker Ernest Roberts on Sept. 6, 1929, in Agnos. To this union, two sons were born.
She worked alongside her husband on the family farm and was employed by the Horseshoe Bend Clubhouse as a cook for many years. She was a member of Salem First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons Boyd Roberts and wife Eva of Camp and Bernard Roberts and wife Perlene of Horseshoe Bend; three grandchildren, Kerry Roberts and wife Joyce, Angela Ferguson and husband Gary and Dana Mayfield and husband Scott; seven great-grandchildren, Jamey Roberts, Jason Roberts, Mindy Guffey, Nathan Ferguson, Jeremy Mayfield, Jared Mayfield and Maria Mayfield; six great-great grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Roberts, Hannah and Owen Guffey and Lillian and Easton Ferguson; one sister, Faye Haney of Mammoth Spring and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, Gilbert Dover; two sisters, Elsie Cherry and Nora Todd and her father and mother.
