The first 100 bricks were recently installed at the front entrance of the Calico Rock Museum by local bricklayer Randy Hiles.

Since March, the foundation has been selling bricks to help pay for the renovations at the building.

"The bricks have been a great way to honor loved ones, former teachers, dear friends or just make a gift yourself," trustee Reed Perryman said.

The foundation recently completed all of the planned renovations, including a new roof.

All of these renovations have been paid for by donations and fundraisers.

The foundation is now raising $30,000 to pay off the bank loan.

Bricks are still for sale to be used in the remainder of the sidewalk. If interested in buying a brick, call 870-297-4129 or visit www.bridgethepast.com.
