Tyler Phillip Coil, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., son of Brent Phillip Coil and Ginny Lee Costin Evans, was born July 31, 1995, in Papilion, Neb. He died Aug. 14, 2011, in Horseshoe Bend at the age of 16 years and 14 days.
He was a student at Izard County Consolidated Schools and would have entered the 11th grade this fall. He loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the ICC Shooting Sports Club, a past member of the FCCLA and he was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ginny and Jeff Evans of Horseshoe Bend, and his father, Brent Phillip Coil of Lincoln, Neb.; brothers and sisters, Austin and Ashley Coil of Horseshoe Bend, Marleigh Bahr and Allison Coil, both of Lincoln, Neb.; grandparents, Shelby Costin, Mary Coil, Randy and Gail Coil and Kiefer Evans, and his great-grandfather Wallace Norwood. He was preceeded in death by one grandfather, Billy Costin.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Salem Church of Christ, with burial in Harris Family Cemetery in Pocahontas, Ark., under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home in Salem, Ark.
Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Cox-Blevins Chapel.
Pallbearers are David Yancey, Chris King, Chris Mosley, Doug Costin, Drake Dennington and Matt vandenMeiracker.
Honorary pallbearers are Austin Coil, Ashley Coil, Cole Jones, Jesse Ball, Alec Tullic, Chris Nedrow and Anthony Arrietta.
