Ozark Action thanks community

Friday, September 9, 2011

Dear Editor:

Ozark Action would like to thank everyone who participated in the recent Oregon County Back to School Fair. As always, this event was a huge success.

We greatly appreciate the vendors who participated, including Oregon County family Support Division, Health Department, Public Library, Twin Pines Conservation Center, CLAIMS, Missouri Department of Transportation, Southeast Ripley County Family Clinic, Oregon County Community Health Center and Dental Center, IMPACT, Missouri Career Center, Ozark Independent Living, Howell Oregon Electric Co-op, Christos House, Shady oaks Health Care Center and Walmart Vision Center.

A big Thank You to the Alton R-4 School System and their staff for allowing us to use the school's facilities, the South Missourian News and KKountry for advertising the Fair and the many volunteers who helped hand out supplies.

Ozark Action would like to thank the Oregon County community for supporting this very important program for the past 11 years, and the Thayer-Mammoth Spring Ministerial Alliance, who will be taking over the Oregon County Back to School Fair next year.

Because of our great community and their generous donations, assistance and service, this event was made possible.
