Imboden Area Charter School started work on its 2011-12 yearbooks recently. This year's yearbook will be all-color and 32 pages. Yearbook Art Director William Smith, eighth grade, and assistant Sarah Addison, fifth grade, have already started taking pictures. The cost of the Yearbook will be $10 and ads will be $25 for a quarter page, $50 for half page and $100 for a full page ad. The book will be soft cover and completed by the staff of 11 fifth- to eighth-graders who were selected from applications submitted last spring and ranked by a committee of the teaching staff. There are a few 2010-11 yearbooks left at a cost of $5 each. Yearbook Editor in Chief Hannah Anderson, 7th grade, said, "We intend to do the best job we can on the yearbook and have them ready by August of next year." Mike McLeod, yearbook advisor said, "I'm very proud of last year's yearbook staff on putting out the first yearbook in IACS's history and very optimistic that this year's staff will do an excellent job as well." McLeod went on to say,"Going to full color will necessitate the increase in price of the yearbook and ads but I believe we will once again totally pay for the yearbook from sales and ads as we did last year."
