Ten Hill 'N Hollow Quilters Guild members travelled to Fort Smith for the Northwest Quilt Congress on Sept. 23-24.

Jan Patek from Cameron, Mo., presented a trunk show of her primitive folk art quilts and held workshops on needle turn appliqué. Roberta Cardew, who divides time between her homes in Spain and Fort Smith, gave a sneak preview from her recent book, "From Spain with Love," telling of her journey to Spain and the inspiration for her quilts.

Learn more about the Guild's classes, workshops, quilt show and activities at www.hillnhollowquilters.com or on Facebook for the Hill 'N Hollow Quilters 2011 Quilt Show on Oct. 20--22.
