Margrette Harber, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Walter Farr and Lona Caldwell Farr, was born Jan. 13, 1933, in Tribby, Okla. She died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Ark., at the age of 78 years, 8 months, 25 days.

She was united in marriage to Luther Duane Harber June 6, 1953. To this union, 2 sons were born. She was employed by Ford Motor Company in Broken Arrow, Okla., as a computer operator until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children: Michael Duane Harber and wife Becky of Salem, and Marty Harber and wife Cathy of West Palm Beach, Fla.; her grandchildren: Angela Harber Angelo and husband Fred of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Kendra Steinfield and husband Ryan of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Duane Percy Harber of West Palm Beach, Fla.; her great grandchildren: Madeline and Lauren Angelo; her sisters, Alene Little of Eufaula, Okla., and Laverne Bailey of Norman, Okla.; her brother, Bob Farr of Shawnee, Okla., and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006, two brothers, Albert and Thelbert Farr, and her father and mother.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Cox-Blevins Chapel, with burial in Salem Cemetery, under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation was Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers were Reggie Gleghorn, Linn Gleghorn, William Hurtt, Harley Harber, Justin Gleghorn and Rusty Hurtt.

Memorials may be made to Fulton County Hospital Redevelopement Fund or Lagacy Hospice.
