Bike Rally to be held in Griffin Park

Bikes of all sizes and shapes made their appearances by the hundreds at the July Spring River Bike Rally. This weekend the Fall Foliage Bike rally promises to be just as entertaining , with cooler weather.
Following the great success of a July bike rally at Griffin Park, a second event will be held the weekend of Oct. 14-16 at the park.

The welcome cooler weather and beautfiul fall foliage will set the backdrop for a fun filled weekend along the South Fork of the Spring River in Cherokee Village

The 2011 Fall Foliage Bike Rally will offer free camping, bands, food, vendors, entertainment and RV spots are available for attendees.

Bands include Sticks and Strings, Tuning S.O.B's, Tripping Nicky, Zach Williams and the Reformation, Vikki McGee, and featuring Triple Threat.

Entertainment begins Friday night and will continue all day Saturday. There will be a wet tee shirt contest, bike games, a burn out competiton and bike show with awards going to the people's choice.

Attendees must be 21 to enter, Id's will be checked,. Other restrictions include no glass containers, pets, ATVs or golf carts. A spokesman for the event said, "No bad attitudes, leave it at home or somewhere else. Let's make this event bigger than the one in July."

Come out and enjoy the fall weather in Cherokee Village.
