Everyone is welcome to the free showings. The movies will be shown at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday from Oct. 18 through Nov. 8.
* Oct. 18: Food Matters
* Oct. 25: Forks Over Knives
* Nov. 1: Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead
* Nov. 8: To be announced
Of all movies, Food Matters is probably the most significant today, according to proponents. It explains why there is so much sickness and why it is getting worse, not better. It also explains what people can do to prevent and cure chronic disease.
At the Oct. 18 showing of Food Matters, a Batesville nutritionist and an Ozarka College professor will attend to answer questions. Seating is limited, so bring an extra chair just in case.
