William Roy Bennett Jr, 59, of Franklin was arrested on Oct. 10 for manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, use or possession of drug paraphernalia for the purpose to manufacture a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm. Bennett was the subject of a marijuana growing investigation in Ozark County, Mo. A search of Bennett's property in Franklin resulted in the seizure of 56 marijuana plants, processed marijuana and four firearms. Bennett was released after posting bond in the amount of $10,000.

Montgomery Alexander Rice, 23, of Oxford was arrested on Oct. 10 on a forgery warrant. Montgomery was released after an initial court appearance.

Henry Pete Heikes, 45, was arrested on Oct. 10 for driving while intoxicated. Heikes was released on Oct. 11 after posting $1,000 bond.

Mitceal Lee Smith, 39, of Flippin was arrested on Oct. 13 for fleeing, driving while intoxicated-drugs, refusal to submit to a chemical test and driving on a suspended license. Smith was released on $2,455 bond, but transferred to Baxter County to face outstanding charges there.

Brandy Hughes, 22, of Mountain Home, a passenger in Smith's car, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Hughes was released after posting $1,230 bond.

Jessica Hatter, 29, of Oxford was charged on Oct. 9 for failure to stop at a stop sign, following a two vehicle accident in Oxford. Hatter was transported to the Fulton County Hospital, following the accident.

Joshua Loosey, 29, of Calico Rock was arrested on Oct. 13 for public intoxication-drugs. Loosey was given a court date and released to family on Oct. 14 to seek medical attention.

Benny Hunter, 56, and Cathy Hunter, 53, both of Franklin were arrested Oct. 11 for criminal trespass. Benny Hunter posted bond but was transferred to Sharp County to answer misdemeanor charges, while Cathy Hunter was transferred to Garland County on outstanding felony charges.

Jeremy Lee Corlis, 37, was jailed Thursday for contempt of court after testing positive for a controlled substance. Corlis was released Sunday after fulfilling his jail commitment.

Jennifer Lucinda Cotton, 41, of Marshall was arrested Oct. 9 for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Cotton was given a court date and released on Oct. 10.

Jamie Nicole Loosey, 24, of Pineville was arrested Oct. 10 on a felony warrant charging possession of a defaced firearm. Loosey was released after making an initial court appearance.

James Thomas Koch, 31, of rural Sharp County was arrested on Oct. 10 on a warrant for felony theft of property. Koch was released after posting $20,000 bond.

Andrew James Sherrell, 37, of Conway was arrested on Oct. 13 on a warrant for failure to pay fines. Sherrell was released after posting $300 bond.

Delena Diane Prestidge, 19, of Violet Hill was arrested on Oct. 13 on a Baxter County warrant for failure to appear. Prestidge was released after posting bond in the amount of $340.
