Benefit to be held Jan. 8 for 'Big John' Homod at Hutson Center

John Homod is one of the owners of Downhome Country Kitchen in Hardy.
On Sunday, Jan. 8, a benefit concert will be held at the A.L. Hutson Center, at 2 p.m., for Big John Homod, owner of Downhome Country Kitchen in Hardy, who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer.

Entertainers appearing at the event include: The River Girls (Sandra and Donna Rhoades and Brenda Barnett), David Lynn Jones and Friends, the Billy Joe French Band, Sara Jo Roark, Garrett Duncan, Joseph Holloway, Gary Rounds, Aaron Sharp, Mike Asher and many others.

Admission will be by donation, and there will be both a live and silent auction taking place during the event.

All proceeds will go to the John Homod Medical Fund. Additional donations may be made at any FNBC location.
