Carrie A. Ivy, 29, and Shawn Michael Lape, 34, were charged on Jan. 1 with domestic battering third degree, after the two got into an early New Year's day altercation at their home.

Judith C. Powell, 67, of Mountain View was arrested Dec. 30 for driving while intoxicated, second offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Powell was released on Dec. 31, after posting bond in the amount of $2,805.

Michael Joseph Kelly II, 22, of Franklin was charged with obstructing governmental operations, after being jailed earlier on DWI charges. Kelly remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Kimberly Dawn Sanders, 37, of Brockwell was arrested Dec. 29 for driving while intoxicated, driving on a suspended license, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Sanders was released after making an initial appearance in Izard County District Court.

Travis Lee Reed, 32, of Drasco was arrested in Franklin for assaulting a police officer. Felony charges are pending.

Michael T. Seyler, 25, of Fairmount, Georgia was arrested Jan. 1 for a violation of Arkansas hot check law. Seyler was released after posting bond in the amount of $636.

Robyn Michelle Archey, 53, of Salem was arrested Dec. 27 on a warrant for violation of Arkansas hot check law. Archey was released after posting bond.

Thomas Junior Smith, 20, of Salem was arrested on Jan. 3 for fraudulent use of a debit card-three counts, fleeing, theft of lost or mislaid property, and theft of property-two counts. Smith was arrested after allegedly stealing a truck in Melbourne, and fraudulently obtaining another person's credit card, and using it to make several purchases. Smith is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Anthony K. Mejia, 24, and Amy Lynn Smith, 18, both of Melbourne have been arrested for burglarizing two Melbourne businesses. They are charged with two counts of commercial burglary, class "c" felonies; theft of property, a class "d" felony; and theft of property, a class "a" misdemeanor. Mejia and Smith remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $15,000 bond each.

John William Mosher, 19, of Melbourne was arrested in Battle Creek, Michigan and transported to the Izard County Detention Facility on Jan. 5. Mosher is charged with failure to appear in Izard County Circuit Court, and remains incarcerated without bond.

Tonya Denise Tate, 38, of Melbourne was arrested on Jan. 7 on a warrant for violation of Arkansas hot check law. Tate was released after posting bond in the amount of $345.

Shane Daniel Lambert, 28, of Newark was arrested Dec. 2 for possession of a controlled substance. Lambert remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,105 bond.

Carl Vannatter, 25, of Calico Rock was arrested Dec. 5 on a probation/parole violation and is currently being held in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Tory Lynn Roberts, 26, of Oxford was arrested Dec. 4 for disorderly conduct. Roberts was released after posting bond in the amount of $205.

Delvin Bookout, 39, of Wiseman was arrested Dec. 6 on a Sharp County warrant. He was later transported to Sharp County.
