The Norfork Lady Panthers scored the last four points of the game to knock off the visiting Mammoth Spring Lady Bears in 1A-2 North play on Jan. 13 at the Panther Pavillion in Norfork.
Mammoth Spring (10-10, 5-4) led 12-7 after the first period, but Norfork pulled ahead 28-21 at the half.
The Lady Bears used a fast start to the second half to tie the game, only to see Norfork retake the lead, 36-32, heading into the fourth period.
Mammoth Spring kept fighting and knotted the score at 44-all late in the game, but the Lady Bears could not score again and Norfork ended the evening with the four-point win.
Kaitlyn Haney paced the Lady Bears with 17 points.
Sydney Peck added eight, while Shy Smoot had seven and Tiffany Angotti six.
Kaitlyn Stewart posted four points and Kendal Rogers had three for the Lady Bears.
On the boys' side of things, the Bears (20-6, 8-1) topped the Panthers 59-47, later in the evening.
Mammoth Spring lead 17-12 after one, 28-22 at intermission and 44-33 after three.
Mason Brown tossed in 15 points for the Bears, while Houston Cooper had 14 and Wayne Coffey 12.
Garrett Wooldridge posted nine points.
Matt Turnbough had six and Josh Parker three for Mammoth Spring.
