Opal Goodwin, 84, of Salem died at the Fulton County Hospital on Jan. 12, following a one vehicle accident at Ross Lane and Locust Street in Salem. Goodwin's vehicle ran a stop sign while traveling north on Ross Lane, crossed Locust Street and struck the rear of the Town and Country Supermarket. Goodwin may have experienced a medical problem before the accident.
