Randell Eugene Wisham, 53, and his wife, Mildred Ethel Wisham, 59, of Violet Hill were charged with theft of property and criminal trespass for a Feb. 19 shed break-in. Wisham, who was out on bond after being previously charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no-bond status. Wisham also faces absconder warrants from another county and the Department of Correction.
Matthew Simmons, 32, of Oxford was arrested on Feb. 23 for domestic battering third degree. Simmons was arrested after a companion, Jessica Hatter, complained she had been physically abused by him, and deputies confirmed Hatter's injuries. Simmons remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending an appearance before Izard County District Judge David E. Miller.
Ricky R. Lake, 33, of Brockwell and Brenton Needle, 25, of Horseshoe Bend were arrested on Feb. 24 for criminal trespass. Deputies, who responded to a call, found Lake and Needle placing firewood on a property into the trunk of a vehicle. Lake was freed after posting bond in the amount of $205. Needle remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Mary Catherine Tyrone of Calico Rock was arrested on Feb. 26 for disorderly conduct and a failure to pay fines warrant from Baxter County. Tyrone had called police to report being assaulted by a man. The man had left the scene, but deputies discovered the outstanding warrant, which led to an altercation with Tyrone. Tyrone was later transferred to Baxter County.
Timothy Michael Roark, 24, of Salem was arrested Feb. 20 on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant. Roark remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,565 bond.
