Former ICC golfer, Rachel Harmon, places second in Lady Mulerider Invitational

Former Izard County High School Golfer, Rachel Harmon, turned in rounds of 83 and 78 for a 161 total to finish second at the Lady Mulerider Invitational in Texarkana, Ark.

Harmon led the Lady Reddies to a third-place finish with Henderson having a 675 team score. Arkansas Tech won the six team event with a score of 657, followed by Harding with a 671 total. Ouachita Baptist placed fourth (873), with Hendrix (903) and Southern Arkansas (932) rounding out the field.

Harmon had three birdies in her two rounds to go along with 19 pars. Harmon was one-under on the par 5s to lead the field.

Julie Robinson tied for fourth-place for Henderson with rounds of 84 and 80 on the par 72, 6,145-yard course. Robinson led the field in par 3 scoring at plus-3, while having 22 pars for the tournament.

Jessica Parks had scores of 90 and 84 for a 174 total to finish in 11th-place, while Taylor Brown finished 13th with rounds of 90 and 86 for the Lady Reddies.

The Lady Reddies are preparing for the Great American Conference Championships set for April 15-17 at the Hot Springs Country Club.
