Viola's Glistening Gems

Thursday, May 17, 2012

Glistening Gems is a new incentive program this year for seventh- and eighth-graders at Viola School. Good behavior and good citizenship are recognized and acknowledged through the awarding of "Gems" that are taped to the students' lockers with a short description of the specific reason the gem was awarded. The gems serve as a public acknowledgement and reminder that helping one another is important and being good students and citizens does not go unnoticed. Students with the most gems were Brett Rodgers, Amanda Martin, Emily Perryman, and Cullen Lewis.
