Kenney Huff Sr. of Salem dreamed of the day he would be reunited with his baby half brother, Ronald Hayes Huff.

These brothers were separated almost 80 years ago as boys in Knoxville, Tenn., due to the divorce of Kenney's father and stepmother.

After years of searching, Kenney passed away in 2001 without seeing his dream fulfilled.

To his families delight, 2012 held a very special miracle for the Huff family, as while working on their family tree, it was discovered that Ronald Hayes Huff was alive and well, living in Kentucky.

Soon after contacting him, he decided to make his first family visit. Ronald arrived in Salem on Apr. 22, to be welcomed as an honored guest at the home of Betty Harris of Salem.

While here, Ronald warmly greeted family members. After a two-day stay, he continued his home coming trip to Mississippi, with his final destination being Florida.

While in Mississippi, Ronald stayed at the home of Joyce Harrelson, where he met and greeted additional family members living there.

Ronald will finish his homecoming visits at his nephew's house in Florida, where even more family members are patiently waiting.

The Huff family has been very blessed to have him reunited with their family and will treasure the time spent with him.
