Jeffery Chase Moser, 23, of Melbourne was arrested June 26 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moser was also charged with probation violation. While incarcerated, Moser allegedly conspired with Brandon Joe Gillaspie, 23, of Melbourne to give Moser a Bible with hydromorphone pills hidden in the lining. Moser was additionally charged as a habitual offender with conspiracy to furnish prohibited articles into a facility, a class "C" felony; unlawful use of a communication device, a class "C" felony; and possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Gillaspie was charged with furnishing prohibited articles into a correction facility, a class "B" felony; conspiracy to furnish prohibited articles, a class "C" felony, unlawful use of a communication device, a class "C" felony; possession of drug paraphernalia to conceal a controlled substance, a class "D" felony; and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

Joseph Lynn Lyons, 27, of Batesville was arrested June 25 on an Izard County theft of property warrant and an Independence County felony warrant. Lyons was transferred to Batesville on the more serious charge.

Roy L. Glisson, 54, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested on June 29 on a probation/parole violation (manufacturing marijuana) and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $2,000 cash bond.

Stephen Townsend, 42, of Oxford was arrested on June 30 on two counts of battery third degree, after allegedly attacking two men with a rock.

Savoy Dylan Stewart, 25, of Calico Rock was arrested on June 28 for domestic battering third degree. Stewart is accused of hitting a female companion during an argument. Stewart was released after being issued a no contact order regarding the female companion.

Caroline Rose Howard, 33, of Pineville was arrested June 29 at a Calico Rock retail business after store employees reported he was disturbing other customers in the store. Howard was charged with disorderly conduct.

Marion Eugene Berry, 56, of Franklin was arrested June 27 for a probation/parole violation.

Steven Bennett Meek, 54, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested June 28 on a absconder warrant and a Sharp County failure to pay fines warrant.

Adrian Michael Humphries, 24, of Batesville was arrested June 24 on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant.

Christopher Dennis Stone, 35, of Violet Hill was arrested June 29 on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant.

Billy Jack Renfrow, 29, of Batesville was arrested June 28 on an Izard County failure to appear warrant.

Brayden William Conyers, 21, of Melbourne was arrested after leaving a court ordered rehabilitation facility prior to completing the program.

Rodney Paul Medling, 37, of Brockwell was transported on June 25 from the Izard County Detention Facility to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Allen Bowers, 28, of Hardy was arrested on June 5 for possession of methamphetamine, possession with the purpose to use drug paraphernalia, and possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to manufacture, store contain or conceal methamphetamine. Sheriff's Deputies found drugs and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle Bowers was driving. The vehicle has been reported stolen in Sharp County. Bowers is being held in Sharp County on vehicle theft charges, with an Izard County hold in place.

Donnie Woodcock, 31, of Calico Rock was arrested on July 9 for assault on a family member, endangering the welfare of child, public intoxication and warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fines. Woodcock was arrested after allegedly assaulting his mother. He is confined to the Izard County Detention Center awaiting a court appearance.

Mark Killian Sexton, 45, of Pineville was arrested on July 6 on a warrant accusing him of criminal trespass and unauthorized use of a vehicle, after allegedly taking a relative's vehicle without permission. Sexton remains jailed in lieu of a cash bond.

Joshua Nathan Cagle, 26, of Pineville was arrested on July 2 for domestic battering third degree, after allegedly assaulting a female companion. Cagle was released July 4, given a court date, and a no-contact order toward the victim.

Jimmy Lynn Hooper, 32, of Mt. Pleasant was arrested on July 6 on a probation/parole violation relating to a previous incident involving assault and battery. Hooper remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
