Low cost spay and neuter clinic

July 31-Aug. 2

The Cherokee Village Animal Control Shelter will host a Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic for dogs and cats on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 31, and Aug. 1 and 2.

The clinic will be held at the Cherokee Village Animal Control Facility, located at 1531 Hwy 289 North, in Cherokee Village, across from the IESI Landfill entrance.

Call the Animal Control Shelter at 870-994-4445 for fees and scheduling.

True Country to appear at George D. Hay

"True Country" will appear at the George D. Hay Music Foundation Theater at 7 p.m. on Saturday,July 21. Come on down and enjoy some toe-tapping, down-home country music, and support the live music tradition of the Ozarks.

The theater is located approximately one mile South of Mammoth Spring, Ark., just off Highway 63. Admission is $5 and concessions are available.

SummerFest to benefit Ministerial Alliance

SummerFest Dinner and Fun, a fundraising event for the Thayer--Mammoth Spring Ministerial Alliance, will be held Saturday July 21, from 4 p.m. -- 7 p.m. at the First Church of God, located on Highway 63, next to KKountry Radio, just north of Thayer.
