Quilt appraiser to speak at Redeemer Lutheran Church Aug. 10

Ann M. Hazelwood, AQS certified quilt appraiser, author, quilt collector and historian, will be guest speaker at the Hill 'N Hollow Quilters Guild meeting on Aug. 10 at the Family Life Center, Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home at 9:30 a.m.

Her lecture, "100 Years of Quilt Making," will feature a live quilt show of her own quilts, along with members' quilts from the past and the present.

She will arrange the quilts in date order and give a short narrative about each.

Hazelwood serves as Official Textile Appraiser for the Antiques Road show when it visits St. Louis, Mo.

She serves on the National Quilt Museum Board in Paducah, Ky., and has curated her own Red and White Quilt Exhibit at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Ky.
