This year's chairperson is Frankie Smith, and the Mammoth Spring VFW #7831 Post and the Ladies of the Auxiliary sponsor this event.
This year, the Ladies Auxiliary will hold a youth and adult Talent Show. On Monday, Aug. 6, at 7 p.m., the talent show will be held for youth, ages infant through 12 years-old.
On Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m., the talent show will be for adults, aged 13 years and up.
Those entering the talent show need not pre-register.
Entrants are asked to be present between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., both evenings, to get registered.
The first place winner in each talent show will receive $75. Second place winners will receive $50 and third place winners will receive $25.
All entertainment will be held down by the baseball field, so please bring lawn chairs.
On Thursday evening, Aug. 9, the band Signal Hill Bluegrass will entertain event goers.
On Friday and Saturday night, the Backwoods Pickers will be on hand.
Rides will open each night of the Reunion at 6 p.m., and armbands will be available for purchase each evening.
Bingo will also be played each night.
The Ladies Auxiliary will be selling chances on a beautiful cedar chest and many items in it, including a handmade quilt.
The cedar chest and quilt will be given away on Saturday at 10 p.m.
The Ladies Auxiliary will also be selling chances on a bow, which will be given away at a later date. The Ladies will also have their Rada knives, candles, and cookbooks available for sale.
On Saturday, Aug. 11 at 1 p.m., Mammoth Spring State Park will have a cannon firing demonstration near the ballfield.
At 2 p.m., following the demonstration, "Miss Ellie" will give her presentation on "Civil War Refugees."
