There will be an open casting call for children and adult roles on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the NADT Dance Academy, 206 East Main, in Batesville, for ages 5-97 (yes -- Dr. E. T. Jones, age 97, played the part of "Opah").
No formal dance training is required for these children and adult parts, and no one is turned away. You do not have to be affiliated with NADT or the NADT Dance Academy to participate.
In the past, we've had participants from Stone, Independence, Izard, Sharp and Fulton Counties. Those from Izard, Sharp and Fulton Counties were Kaitlin Anderson, Cara Smith, Alli Roberts, Maddie Smith, Hannah Paulson, Amanda Matteson, Stephanie Anderson, Joy Covington, Gillian Murphy, Oivia Tuggle, Bridget Sneathern, plus a slew of backstage workers.
Come on down and be a part of this wonderful Christmas tradition. For more information, go to www.nadt.info or call 866-GOT-NADT.
