She has been instrumental in educating farmers and landowners on federal government intrusions, an advocate for government transparency and the rights of farmers and individuals to buy and sell food among themselves.

The Go Green Festival is held twice a year, in April and October. The October 2011 festival had 1,500 people in attendance and grew to almost 3,000 for April 2012.
