NARFE meeting set for Aug. 28 in

West Plains

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 695 of West Plains will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at noon at Ryan's Family Steak House, 1321 Preacher Roe Blvd.

The speaker will be Patrick Ledgerwood, Presiding Commissioner in Oregon County.

All active and retired federal employees and spouses are invited to attend.

Davis Cemetery

Annual Meeting

set for Aug. 26

Supporters of the Davis Cemetery will hold their annual meeting on Aug. 26. There will be a potluck lunch at 12:45 p.m., with a short meeting to follow. Everyone interested in the cemetery is encouraged to attend.

The Elmores to sing in Alton on Aug. 26

The Elmores will be singing at the Victory Free Will Baptist Church in Alton, this Sunday, August 26, at 11 a.m.

The Elmores, Marty and Patti, are a husband and wife team from West Plains, Mo. They have been writing and singing gospel music together for the past 25 years.

Everyone is invited to attend.
