The monthly Music in the Mountains Show will return to the stage of the Horseshoe Bend Theatre Saturday, Sept. 15 at 6:00 p.m. This month's show will feature the very talented house band, The Hwy 289 Band (Melodie Clemmons, Dr. Ron Yow, Chuck McNeight, and Bob McCarty), showcasing many of their favorite songs they have performed throughout the years, from traditional country, classic rock, gospel and contemporary.
Ed Luedke will be present on his country classic guitar, along with cast members Jerry Kipper and Ron Hart. Special musical guests Deadwood Grove (Eric Sitton, Tracey Cone, Chancy Coleman) from Melbourne, Ark., will be featured. Deadwood Grove recently performed at the Izard County Fair and also sat in as guests with the 289 Band for the August show. This band plays a variety of musical styles. Something for the entire family!
There will be grilled hamburgers beginning at 5:00 p.m. Showtime is at 6:00 p.m. Admission is by donation and concessions are available during the show.
