Robert Brian Armstrong, 21, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Hardy, Ark. was born Oct. 31, 1990, in Mountain Home, Ark. the son of John Marvin and Gayle Louise (Strayer) Armstrong, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, while in the company of family members, at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
Brian was employed at a Target warehouse. He graduated from Easter Sunrise Academy and earned an associate degree from UACCB. Brian loved aviation, and was a member of Christian Tabernacle Church in Hardy, Ark..
He is survived by his parents,one brother, Christopher Armstrong of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Laura Martin and husband, Steve, of Hot Springs, Ark., and Amanda Pruitt and husband Teddy, of Homer, La., girlfriend, Elisabeth Moseley, of Phoenix, Ariz.; maternal grandparents, Bob and Sue Strayer of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dick and Neta Armstrong.
Funeral services were held at Christian Tabernacle Church in Hardy, Ark., on Saturday, November 3, 2012, with Bro. Jason Jackson officiating. Interment at Eagle's Rest Cemetery in Hardy, Ark., under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Ark. Visitation was held Friday, Nov.2 in the Christian Tabernacle Fellowship Hall. Pallbearers were Christopher Armstrong, Teddy Pruitt, Sam Davis, Johnny Jones, Adam Davis, and Ben Garrett.
