Glen Dwayne Smith, born on Feb. 13, 1958, in Alton, Mo., son of Doyle Loranza and Dorothy Frances (Huggins) Smith. He departed this life on Nov. 6, 2012, in Salem, Ark., at the age of 54.
He was united in marriage to Tonya Gail Bassham on Aug. 30, 1986, in Thayer, Mo. He was an over-the-road truck driver, hauling many types of freight and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Smith, of the home in Salem; three daughters, Brittany Avery and husband Justin of Mountain Home, Ark., Teria Long and husband Andrew of Paducah, Ky., Sonya Kincannon and husband Chris of Paducah, Ky.; five grandchildren: Brody, Tristan, Gavin, Gracie and Dalton; four brothers, Lonnie Smith and wife Ramona of Alton; Michael Smith, of Alton; Dennis Smith and wife Felecia of Alton; and Ronnie Smith, of Fremont, Mo.; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Laverne Johnson.
