Water topped the Sturkie Bridge on Sunday, Jan. 13, but about four inches of rain the day before did not cause much flooding in the area. Rivers and streams and ponds were so low from continued drought that the rain just filled them up. The four inches of rain was the most recorded in the area at one time in more than a year and a half.
