A man's body, found in a submerged pickup truck in Lake Norfork on Saturday, Jan. 12, has been identified as 27 year old Charles B. Csiszer of Flippin, Ark.
According to the State Medical Examiner's Office, Csiszer died of a gunshot wound to his head, in an apparent suicide.
Csiszer had been reported missing on Oct. 20, 2012, and his family and friends had had no contact with him since then.
Csiszer's truck was discovered on Jan. 12 when someone saw a vehicle in about 10 feet of water off the end of the courtesy dock at the Calamity Beach boat dock, in the Clarkridge area of Baxter County.
A sheriff's office diver who went into the water to check the vehicle found the body inside.
Sheriff's investigators recovered a handgun and a box of ammunition from the vehicle. Csiszer was seat belted in the truck, and the driver's side door was unlocked, while the passenger door was locked, all evidence which supported the finding that Csiszer died of suicide.
